ATTENTION: This is the Around the Back air step(aerial) in the California Routine. Aerial are dangerous and can result in serious injury. If you do not have experiance with air steps you can replace it with a Swing Out instead with a jump break on the 7-8.

Shim Sham – full routine

The full Shim Sham routine danced to music. The moves are:

  • shim sham step
  • full break step
  • pushes and cross overs
  • tackey annie
  • full break
  • half break
  • Then the whole routine is reapeted with freezes instead of the full breaks
  • Shim Sham ends with boogie back, boogie forward and shorty george
  • At the end usually people will start dancing socially with each other until the end of the song
