Freeze

Freeze

Patrick and Natasha show the second part of the shim sham, the part where everything is repeated with breaks in between (part 6 of the teaching sequence).

In this video the teachers show how to hit the breaks in the second part of the Shim Sham.

This is the part where all the full breaks (LINK) are not performed and instead everybody freezes.

Teachers: Patrick Szmidt and Natasha Ouimet

The song this routine is often danced to is either “T’ain’t What You Do” by Billy May or “The Shim Sham Song” by The Bill Elliott Swing Orchestra
